ABOUT US

Fundacion Gramo Danse, with more than 20 years of existence, has the mission of promoting the practice and appreciation of aerial and contemporary dance in Panama. It holds workshops with local and foreign dance masters, organizes collaborations with dance companies internationally and motivates the creation and collaboration between dance artists.

The foundation has a group of professional dancers, CÍA. Gramo Danse, which makes educational performances open to the public, employing dance and art professionals throughout the year. Through our Social Program DANZAREA, we continue to positively impact children and young people in areas of social risk in Panama City, and we continue to train teachers and instructors in the teaching of aerial and contemporary dance.

OUR GOALS
- Implement educational and artistic projects for children, adolescents, and adults
- Stimulate innovation and creativity through teaching aerial and contemporary dance and the fusion of the two
- Promote the sensibility and artistic appreciation through performances of aerial dance, contemporary dance, and the fusion of the two, and through interactions between the public and the artists
- Increase the institutional exposure of the organization to achieve continuity and positioning
- Participate in organizational and community initiatives that seek the professionalization of the Arts
- Create and strengthen our cultural and educational legacy for future generations
- Create a sustainable structure to achieve the long term continuity of our programs
- Form alliances with government institutions and non-government organizations with similar objectives
- Boost the creation of new choreographies of aerial and contemporary dance in Panama
